The Four Reasons Your Video Has Low Visibility
Content creation is essential to business growth in today's business world. In the race to content creation, video content has taken the first place, becoming the most consumed form of content.
You made a commitment to creating content, but you spend so much time creating and recording the content, but no one is watching your videos.
There are a few reasons they may not be. In this blog, I will identify some of those problems and how you can quickly solve them.
Your Videos Are Too Long.
People want shorter videos these days. Two-thirds of people prefer videos that are under 60 seconds. So keep it short and entertaining. Now, for those creators who can't do a lot in 60 seconds yet, please note that the Facebook algorithm favors videos between two and five minutes, which is shorter than typical. It used to be like 15 to 20 minutes.
If you are used to the 15 - 20 minutes, and you're looking for an easy way to cut down your video,
Pick one point from that 15-minute video and then talk about it in two to five minutes, and your audience will thank you.
Your Video Contents Are Addressing The Wrong Audience.
Addressing the wrong audience is a common mistake among new business owners trying to navigate social media. Now, if you have not narrowed down your ideal client, that's okay. There are simple ways that you can still speak to your ideal client while you're narrowing down that niche.
Honing in on whom you're talking to is as important as the content you are creating and is something that I encourage you to look at, at least quarterly.
Because once you know whom you are talking to in your videos and your content. More people will watch and take action because you're speaking directly to them.
Your Video Titles and Your Descriptions Are Misleading.
Have you ever seen the description of a video, and you're so excited to watch it, and then you watched it, and it's something else? It cannot be enjoyable.
It's lame when someone clicks bait you like that to get traffic for their stuff. So, to get people to continue watching your videos and create engagement, make sure that your video title and description match what you're talking about in your video.
People Are Not Finding Your Video: No Keywords
Anything on social media, Google, and YouTube is searchable in this digital world. So what tags are you using? Are they searchable? When writing your description, you must keep what your ideal audience would search for in mind. Here are two simple steps that can significantly change your video description.
Make sure you're using many keywords in the metadata in your description.
Ensure to be descriptive about what your video is about so that people can find the video.
If you're writing a description that says, tune into my live video, or I have a few announcements. It will probably not come up in search results because you're not using any keywords or indicators as in your video.
